Outlined below are the four shelters that Soul Food delivers to. Click on the name of the shelter to learn more.
Soul food delivers food from Queens cafeterias to Lunch by George. Lunch by George normally serves 100 people per day, and over 120 at their Christmas meal. Lunch by George is supported by the people of Kingston, through personal donations, businesses and charitable foundations.
Some services of Lunch by George include:
Serving patrons meals, snacks and coffee
Operates five days a week, opening at 9am
Many patrons have some form of disability - mental or physical - which prevents them from working, lunch by George provides their social center
Volunteers always welcome! Some ways you can help are outlined below:

Soul food delivers food from Queens cafeterias to In From the Cold Emergency Shelter (IFTC). Established in winter 2000 IFTC was opened to assist other shelters with overflow. It has been a year-round shelter since July 2004. It is open 24 hours per day, seven days a week. The IFTC shelter is located at 540 Montreal St.
Some services of IFTC include:
Staff assist people with applications for the Social Housing Registry
Staff provide immediate assistance to finding alternate housing
Provide a community voice mail service for those without a phone at no cost
Mail agreement which allows those without a fixed address to have mail re-directed to, helping families stay connected through mail

Soul food delivers food from Queens cafeterias to the Integrated Care Hub (ICH) in Kingston. The ICH provides 24/7 low barrier and wrap-around services to vulnerable citizens. The ICH is locate at 661 Montreal St. The goal of the integrated care model is to create a space where individuals can be safe and welcome.
Some services of the ICH include:
Access to meals
Harm reduction education
Needle/syringe program
Naloxone kits and training
Provision of referrals to local health and social services
Linkage to community organizations

Soul food delivers food from Queens cafeterias to Lily’s place. Lily’s place is an emergency shelter for families. Lily’s place has 19 beds specifically for families, in a 7 bedroom located at 333 Kingscourt Avenue
Some services of Lily’s place include:
Children’s play room
Parenting support
Programming and life skills for adults and children
money management
cooking/nutrition
